In the first couple episodes, it was a nominal reflection of actual school life.

With each successive installment, we've gone further and further towards the internal/fanciful interpretation of it. This is what you'd expect to hear in a game of telephone or read a troll post.

It's funky, it's over-the-top, and it doesn't match 1-for-1 with reality("did it ever, tho?"). This is more a reflection of a teenager's impression of high school goings on, as opposed to the (warped) reality of it.

"It's been a weird cartoon since Episode One, Harlequin!" you say

Yes, I know. Alpha-Nuva's just letting his freak flag fly a little higher. It's good stuff, especially for exercising storyboarding/keys while still letting go. I appreciate the fuck out of it, even if I'd be interested to see what AN would do animating the Prince (from Snow White).

It's a good cartoon. Frustrating that each episode takes longer and longer, but it's one dude. It takes the time that it takes and it's obvious it's being done for fun more than anything else.

Alpha-Nuva responds:

I have three zits right next to my nose and they're all really annoying

You put forward a "positive" viewpoint, but don't look to actually vindicate your viewpoint so much as passive aggressively assert that the persons speaking out are unreasonable and merely vitriolic in the face of, well...

You don't address the actual points being raised, but rather the method.

The same way you say that they are scared with agreeing with you if it got down to simple discussion, I feel that you are similarly intimidated in having to flesh out your ideas beyond the grand statements you've made in previous videos.

Let me be clear: this video is meant to discredit your detractors, not actually address a the debated issues or even so much as give a promise to provide a more detailed explanation of your beliefs in future.

Just because you do not attack head on does not mean you are not attacking, even when talking of peaceful things.

I'd love to see a fight at this tempo with a similar tune with actual characters.

Clopping is like fapping...but so much more potential to be completely disturbing...

Speedo responds:

Clopping IS fapping with horribly forced relabelling.

This is a pretty good animation.

The only problem is that you need to understand how to time your animation when setting it to music. The animation needs to be a little ahead in order for the viewer to see the illusion of it being in sync.

I dunno if this makes sense to you, but that's how it is.

Finally- a porn community that isn't obnoxious.

"If you're wondering why we didn't spell 'coming' with a "u"...we're better than that."

That pretty much sold me.

...damn, I'm easy.

Geez

The whole short was nice, but the beginning was pretty rocky, especially with the really crappy voice acting on Katelyn's part. Perfect voice or not, she's not good at acting. The rest was okay, though the job for the Don bit pretty big, too.

The animation is good, if a tad grainy, and the story's plot development fit nicely into the alotted time. Nice work and good ending, I say.

Just try to get your VAs to practice their parts more next time. Please.

O MAH GAWD

This should be shown in Algebra classes everywhere. EVERYWHERE

ROFL

Anyone who's done fifth grade math would've seen what was going on right away.

Also, if anybody here was thinking these things were solvable (except for the phonebook thing), you're an undereducated n00b and you should go back to grade school as soon as possible.

What I Like

Is the actual historic accuracy found throughout this historic parody.

Yes, there's guitar solos, machine guns, and grenade bombs, but here's some bits to chew on:

Washington's teeth- they're brown like wood or some kinds of ivory. The fact that teeth show at all is a sign of attention to detail.

The Brit that gets his "leg" shot- he's wearing a grenadier's uniform. Grenadiers, at that time, were well noted to have, at one point or another, gotten their legs blown off by one of their one weapons, usually one with a rather fast-burning fuse. The fact that even the style of the PEG LEGS is historically accurate(at least, to illustrations of the time) is pretty damn nifty.

Just some things to think about, guys...

WooleyWorld responds:

And here I was thinking it would go unnoticed.

High marks for knowing your history and a good review.

Sarcastic, poignant, legendarily weird. That is all you need to know.
